Biographical Notes
Carol Bolton is a foundation member of APPWA, and a psychoanalytic psychotherapist now retired but still interested.
Mary Cameron worked for many years as a Social Worker with children and families, before training in the 1990’s as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist with the NSWIPP. Mary works in private practice as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist with individuals and with couples. She has a special interest in mother/infant work and is an Infant Observation seminar leader with NSWIOP. Mary is currently President of NSWIPP and is involved in the Training program of NSWIPP.
Dr Alison Clayton is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and psychiatrist in private practice in Melbourne. She is a member of the Victorian Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists.
Suzanne Hicks is a clinical psychologist and psychoanalytic psychotherapist. She studied English Literature at Monash University before completing a BA (Psychology) and an MA (Clinical Psychology) at UWA. For four years she was the co-ordinator of the PTSD programme for war-related trauma at The Hollywood Hospital in Perth, WA, while completing her psychoanalytic training in Self Psychology with APPWA, graduating in 2007. She is now in private practice in rural Western Australia.
Dr. Penny Jools has a Ph.D. and a Clinical Masters in Developmental Psychology. Twenty years ago she and three colleagues set up a successful private clinic in Annandale, that specialized in working with troubled couples and families. Dr. Jools is past president of CAFPAA, (Couples and Family Association of Australasia) and has served on the Executive of NSWIPP (NSW Institute of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy). Her recent international publications have been on couple psychotherapy. Now retired from clinical practice she offers supervision and consultation from Hobart where she now lives. She is a voracious reader of fiction.
Anne Jeffs is a Melbourne based clinical social worker and psychoanalytic psychotherapist working with children, adolescents and adults. Anne works both in private practice and in the Glen Nevis Clinic, which provides subsidized twice weekly psychoanalytic psychotherapy for up to two years to low income earners. The Glen Nevis Clinic has a strong clinical and extra clinical research component. Anne is a member the Victorian Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists (VAPP) and an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHAASW).
Sally Young is a Psychotherapist and Principal Social Worker at Mater Child and Youth Mental Health Service, Brisbane.
