Biographical Notes
Paul Coombe is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and group psychotherapist practicing at Kew in Victoria.
Elisabeth Hanscombe is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and writer who has published a number of short stories and articles in magazines and journals throughout Australia. She is currently undertaking a PhD at LaTrobe University on the topic ‘Theories of Autobiography: Life writing and the desire for revenge’. She is interested in the ways in which Object Relations theory intersects with that of narrative and the autobiographical.
Susan Laganza is a psychoanalyst who sees adults and children in private practice at Lane Cove in Sydney. She is writing a PhD at ANU in anthropology, using poetry and psychoanalysis as research methods. The poem in this issue was written in response to a dream which awakened memories of her early professional life when she was working in a spinal injuries unit.
Andrew Leggett is a Brisbane psychiatrist and psychotherapist in private practice. He is Senior Lecturer in Psychiatry at the University of Queensland, where he has completed a research master’s degree in Creative Writing and is a provisional doctoral candidate in Media and Cultural Studies in the School of English, Media Studies and Art History. He has published poetry, fiction, book reviews and papers on psychotherapy, social research, ethics, and aesthetics. He has been a guest editor of Media/Culture Journal and is the current editor of the Australasian Journal of Psychotherapy.
Priscilla Maxwell is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist in private practice in
Melbourne.
Paul Mcevoy is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist in private practice in Perth.
Don Meadows is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist practicing in Melbourne. He trained originally as an Anglican priest and later with the Victorian Association of Psychotherapists of which he is a member. He is a former editor of this Journal.
