Foreword

This Special Issue of the Australasian Journal of Psychotherapy, comprising the papers presented at the Inaugural Conference of the Australasian Confederation of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapies held in Sydney February 2020, celebrates the formal coming together of the ACPP representative organisations in a working spirit of their commonality.

As with the process of the formation of the Confederation itself, this project has been a collaborative effort. I would like as always to thank my colleagues on the journal committee for their wisdom and support and to record our special thanks to Confederation representatives Timothy Keogh (APAS) and Paul -McEvoy (PPAA) for their commitment and help in producing this issue of the journal.
